According to Morris, the decision seeks to strengthen the cultural identity and collective memory surrounding public television, in addition to highlighting the mission of service to the country that characterizes state media.
The change is part of an institutional reorganization process that includes programming adjustments and the modernization of digital platforms, with the aim of expanding the reach of public content.
