The 2025 Laver Cup is taking place at the Chase Center in San Francisco, USA, from September 19-21. The tournament pits Team Europe, captained by Yannick Noah, against Team World, coached by Andre Agassi. Each match awards increasing points: one on Friday, two on Saturday, and three on Sunday.
On the opening day, Team Europe took a 3-1 lead thanks to wins by Casper Ruud, Jakub Mensik, and the doubles team of Carlos Alcaraz and Mensik. Team World's only victory came with Brazilian João Fonseca defeating Flavio Cobolli.
The second day began with a comeback for the World team. Australian Alex de Minaur convincingly defeated Alexander Zverev, and then Argentine Francisco Cerúndolo defeated Holger Rune. With these results, Team World took a 5-3 lead.
The final decision is set for Sunday, September 21, when the matches will award three points each. The first team to reach 13 points will be crowned champion of this year's Laver Cup.
